About me:
I am a talented primary school teacher, with over a decade of experience. I am a qualified Special Needs and/or Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo). I have also served as an Assistant Headteacher in Barking and Dagenham, where I instilled a successful and aspirational learning culture within a relatively deprived community. After starting a family, I switched to private tuition for the flexibility it afforded around a busy family life. With my expertise, I have supported students with Eleven Plus exams and helped secure places in prestigious grammar schools like King Edward VI (KEGs), Westcliff Highschool, and Chelmsford County High School for girls, to name but a few.

Shared Learning
I facilitate group learning sessions for children with similar abilities. Research strongly supports the benefits of collaborative learning as it enables students to share ideas, clarify differences, problem-solve, and develop new understandings. Based on my experience, students who work together are more motivated to achieve than when working alone.
